Bronze medal in high relief commemorating the 1st non-stop airplane flight across the south Atlantic by Joseph Lebrix and Dieudonne Costes on October 14, 1927.
While in South America, Joseph LeBrix and Dieudonne Costes visited every nation on the continent. They then travelled from San Francisco across the Pacific to Tokyo by boat. There they continued their flight from Tokyo to Paris making stops listed on the reverse.

Impressed BRONZE & cornucopia mint mark of the Monnaie de Paris on edge.
Signed Anie Mouroux on obverse and A.M. on reverse.
