BELGIAN ART DECO SILVER, WOOD & MIRRORED PLATEAU CENTERPIECE

Bowl: 19" wide; 8 ¼" long; 5 1/4" high
Mirrored Tray: 25 ¾" wide; 12 ¼" long; 1 1/4" high

This oval shaped silver centerpiece has bone handles and sits on a wood and bone stand on a silver and mirrored plateau with bone handles. This jardinière is a version of a piece called “Endeavour”, designed by Thurr de Waegh in 1938. One of the rare survivors of the pre-world war production of new models designed by de Waegh of which very few examples exist.
